Ruvia Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 3, 2026

1. Who we are

Ruvia (“we”) provides the Ruvia fitness training app. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@ruvia.fit.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, and your name and profile photo when provided during sign-in.
  • Sign-in credentials: passwords are stored only as an irreversible hash; we never store them in readable form. Google and Apple sign-in tokens are verified by Google and Apple; we keep only your Google or Apple account identifier to link your account.
  • Fitness data you create: workouts, exercises, and training logs, including sets, repetitions, and weights.
  • On-device data: rest-timer reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push tokens are sent to our servers.

3. Data we do not collect

We use no analytics or tracking SDKs, serve no ads, and collect no advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or HealthKit / health-record data. We never sell your personal data.

4. How we use your data

We use your data only to operate your account, authenticate you, sync your workouts across your devices, and respond to support requests.

5. Sharing

  • Railway: hosts our servers and database.
  • Google: verifies Google sign-in tokens.
  • Apple: verifies Apple sign-in tokens.

We disclose data to anyone else only when required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete everything at any time in the app via Profile → Delete account: this permanently deletes your account, workouts, exercises, and training history immediately, and cannot be undone. You can also request deletion by emailing support@ruvia.fit; we honor such requests within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@ruvia.fit. Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Ruvia service), and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Ruvia is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and passwords are stored hashed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date and update the app as needed.
